In addition to a comprehensive medical evaluation, initial appointments explore psychological, family and educational factors contributing to the problem.

The consultation includes:

• Detailed history of current and past information contributing to present problem
• Birth
• Review of systems
• Developmental and behavioral milestones
• Family history and educational review

Dr. Roth will also perform a complete physical, neurologic and genetic exam with specific focus on development and behavior. At the end of the evaluation, you will receive a comprehensive plan including medical interventions, behavior management, school placement, and special services. Dr. Roth will discuss academic recommendations, including developing a reasonable individualized education plan, community services, and at-home interventions. Dr. Roth will work with you, your pediatrician, teachers, therapists and medical sub-specialists to coordinate medical care. Follow-up appointments will be scheduled for long-term guidance regarding care for your child and to ensure that special services have been obtained.
